Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs Steelhead trout
  • 2 limes
  • 1 Tbsp hot honey  (our daily must-have staple!)
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional for spice lovers)
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Directions

1️⃣ Prep the Oven & Sauce

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • Zest 1 lime and squeeze 1 tsp juice into a small bowl.
  • Stir in honey, olive oil, chili powder, red pepper flakes, and salt.

2️⃣ Prep the Trout

  • Place trout skin-side down on a lined baking tray.
  • Brush the chili lime sauce evenly over the fish.

3️⃣ Bake to Perfection

  • Bake for 15-18 minutes or until the trout flakes easily with a fork.

4️⃣ Garnish & Serve

  • Serve with fresh parsley and lime wedges.
  • Enjoy with roasted veggies, quinoa, or a light salad!
