This simple guacamole recipe proves that supporting your skin doesn't have to be complicated. Made with just a handful of fresh, whole-food ingredients, it's rich in healthy fats, antioxidants, and minerals that help nourish skin from the inside out.

It's especially supportive for mature skin, thanks to its abundance of skin-loving fats and vitamin-rich ingredients that help support hydration, elasticity, and a healthy skin barrier. While beneficial for all skin types, this is one of those recipes that becomes even more valuable as skin naturally becomes drier and more delicate with age.

Whether you're serving it with vegetables, spooning it onto tacos, or enjoying it alongside your favorite summer meals, it's an easy way to add more whole-food nourishment to your day.

  • Avocados → Rich in healthy fats and vitamin E to support skin hydration and elasticity.
  • Lime → Provides vitamin C, which supports collagen production and skin repair.
  • Cilantro → Contains antioxidants that help protect skin from environmental stress.
  • Red Onion → Rich in plant compounds that support healthy aging and skin resilience.
  • Olive Oil (if serving with a drizzle) → Supports a strong, healthy skin barrier.

Why Your Skin Will Love This Recipe

This guacamole is especially supportive for mature skin because it provides the healthy fats that help keep skin soft, resilient, and well-moisturized.

Avocados are naturally rich in monounsaturated fats and vitamin E, both of which help support the skin barrier and protect against dryness. As skin matures, maintaining adequate hydration becomes increasingly important, and nourishing fats play a key role.

The combination of lime, cilantro, and onion also provides antioxidants that help protect skin from oxidative stress, one of the factors associated with visible skin aging.

What you eat is an important part of a holistic skincare routine. Over time, those daily choices can show up in the form of healthier, more resilient skin and a natural glow.
