An educational membership and support network for handmade skincare makers ready to start and grow their businesses.

There's a lot to figure out when you're building your business solo.

When you work for yourself, you're often making the decisions, solving the problems, and wondering whether you're making the right call—all on your own.

The Small Batch Collective gives you something no search bar or AI tool can replace: real people with firsthand experience building businesses like yours.

Bring the questions. Talk through the ideas. Learn from what's worked—and what hasn't—for other makers. And have people in your corner as you build something you're proud of.

Christine Glaser, C.A., owner Treesnail Wellness

Hi, I'm Christine Glaser

I'm the owner of Treesnail Wellness, a certified aromatherapist, handmade skincare maker, and longtime e-commerce business owner.

Since starting my business in 2012, I've learned a lot about formulation, branding, selling online, marketing, in-person markets, systems, customer experience—and what it actually takes to keep a small business moving when you're the person wearing nearly every hat.

But one of the biggest things I've learned is that having people who actually get it matters.

That's why I created The Small Batch Collective: to give handmade skincare makers a place to learn, connect, ask questions, share ideas, and build their businesses alongside people who understand the journey.

Meet Christina Chastain

Christina of Bonhemy Balms is a fellow handmade skincare business owner and founding contributor to The Small Batch Collective.

She brings her own business experience and expertise—including herbalism and tallow-based skincare—to The Collective.

We don't formulate exactly the same way. We don't run identical businesses.

And that's the point.

This isn't about finding one person with all the answers. It's about learning from people with different experiences, specialities, and perspectives.

  • JUST GETTING STARTED?

You'll have a complete foundational library waiting for you, with practical education designed to help you take action. Work through it at your own pace, focus on what you need right now, and have a community to turn to when questions come up along the way.

  • ALREADY ESTABLISHED?

Your business may already have its foundation, but there's always something new to learn, improve, or figure out. Come for ongoing education, fresh ideas, different perspectives, accountability, and other makers who understand the decisions and challenges that come with actually running this kind of business.

Ready to build with people who get it?
