Ingredients
- 1 bag Yerba Mate tea
- 8-12 oz boiling water
- 1/2 cup oat milk
- 1 tbsp hot honey (GF)
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Directions
- Heat water in an electric tea kettle.
- While water is heating, add hot honey and tea bag to mug.
- When water is ready, pour over tea bag and let steep for 5 minutes.
- Remove tea bag and add milk, spices, and extract.
- With a handheld milk frother, blend for a perfectly frothy latte.
Notes
Oat milk is my preference, but you can easily add almond milk (unsweetened or flavored).
Same with any spices or sweeteners - try regular honey instead of hot honey, sugar instead of honey, pumpkin pie spice instead of ginger...change it up according to YOUR faves, this is just an idea starter!
