Ingredients
- 1 bag Yerba Mate tea
- 8-12 oz boiling water
- 1/2 cup oat milk
- 1 tbsp hot honey (GF)
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Directions
1. Heat water in an electric tea kettle.
2. While water is heating, add hot honey and tea bag to mug.
3. When water is ready, pour over tea bag and let steep for 5 minutes.
4. Remove tea bag and add milk, spices, and extract.
5. With a handheld milk frother, blend for a perfectly frothy latte.
Notes
Oat milk is my preference, but you can easily add almond milk (unsweetened or flavored).
Same with any spices or sweeteners - try regular honey instead of hot honey, sugar instead of honey, pumpkin pie spice instead of ginger...change it up according to YOUR faves, this is just an idea starter!
