Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs Steelhead trout
- 2 limes
- 1 Tbsp hot honey (our daily must-have staple!)
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional for spice lovers)
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
1️⃣ Prep the Oven & Sauce
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Zest 1 lime and squeeze 1 tsp juice into a small bowl.
- Stir in honey, olive oil, chili powder, red pepper flakes, and salt.
2️⃣ Prep the Trout
- Place trout skin-side down on a lined baking tray.
- Brush the chili lime sauce evenly over the fish.
3️⃣ Bake to Perfection
- Bake for 15-18 minutes or until the trout flakes easily with a fork.
4️⃣ Garnish & Serve
- Serve with fresh parsley and lime wedges.
