Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs Steelhead trout
- 2 limes
- 1 Tbsp hot honey* (one of my must-have daily staples)
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes*
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375ºF.
- Zest one lime and squeeze one tsp of juice into a small bowl.
- Stir in the honey, olive oil, chili powder, red pepper, and salt.
- Place the trout skin side down onto a lined baking tray that has edges.
- Brush the chili lime sauce onto the trout, covering evenly.
- Bake for 15 to 18 minutes or until fish flakes easily.
- Serve with additional lime wedges and fresh parsley.
Notes
*If you don't like heat, use regular honey in lieu of the hot honey and simply omit the red pepper flakes.
