Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs Steelhead trout
- 2 limes
- 1 Tbsp hot honey* (one of my must-have daily staples)
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes*
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 375ºF.
2. Zest one lime and squeeze one tsp of juice into a small bowl.
3. Stir in the honey, olive oil, chili powder, red pepper, and salt.
4. Place the trout skin side down onto a lined baking tray that has edges.
5. Brush the chili lime sauce onto the trout, covering evenly.
6. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes or until fish flakes easily.
7. Serve with additional lime wedges and fresh parsley.
Notes
*If you don't like heat, use regular honey in lieu of the hot honey and simply omit the red pepper flakes.
